[SPOILER] Abandoned Empress First Timeline – After Tia’s Death (PART 1)

WARNING!! CONTAINS SPOILER!! READ ON YOUR OWN RISK!!

This is summary from chapter 57-58 of the novel.

Ji Eun’s POV

“Tia I hate you”

I hate you for never giving me your heart, even after all this time I made you my role model and followed you everywhere. Even after I asked you to be close like sisters. I hate you for not telling me what happened, I hate you for not telling me that you were innocent, I hate you for making me late to realize this. And I hate you for leaving before I can say I’m sorry.

Now the only thing I have that is more than yours, Ruve’s love, is slowly decreasing. I hate you for that. I hate you for making me so hopeless because I can’t be like you even though i’ve tried so hard. I hate you for making people always compare me to you. I hate you. If only… If only you didn’t exist… ah no… If only you didn’t try so hard, maybe the three of us are living happily now.

People say that I’m a blessed child. But why am I living a difficult life. If the God really wanted to give me her blessing, wouldn’t it be better to give me the same abilities as you?

I miss my family. Now I have no place to go except that gloomy palace, where no one supports me. I have to find a way to make Ruve fall in love with me again or at least so Ruve can’t throw me away.

Ruve’s POV

I went to Ji Eun’s palace after receiving an invitation from her. Although I don’t really like her lately, but however I was the one who  abandoned the second empress, so I thought at least I have to be nice to Ji Eun.

Ji Eun has prepared dinner that she made herself. She said these foods were traditional foods of her original world. She also said the laws that she made earlier had been returned as before. I respond nonchalantly. Although I’ve decided to be nice to her, I feel unhappy spending my time with her. I feel lazy listening to her who keeps talking to me.

I took my fork and started eating the meat served. I frowned.

“What is this?”

“Bulgogi”

It’s a little bit too salty. Not that this food is not tasty, just it doesn’t suit my taste. All the food she made…too salty. Some years ago, when both of the dukes decided to retire, she comforted me by serving various types of food that she made herself. Although the food was saltier, I was touched so I ate all of the food.

But now instead of touched, I’m angry that I have to eat something that doesn’t suit my taste.

I decided to left Ji Eun and not to continue my dinner at Ji Eun’s palace. Arrived at my palace, I ordered the servants to prepare dinner. Then I drink water to get rid the saltiness from Ji Eun’s food.

~~~~~~TBC~~~~~~
I’m still learning, so this summary may not 100% accurate. And… Sorry for bad grammar (I hope it’s still readable tho), as I said, I’m still learning.
Also if you want another spoiler, you can join wandering willow discord server here and check the messages from Eodez in spoiler channel from Sep-Oct (tho it might take you some time, but worth it). Or you can also dm her your gmail address (also via discord) to access her gdoc file (for now, spoiler up to vol. 2 ch 48 of the novel –  ofc she will add other chapters as well).
Enjoy and see you next post~~
